MVA Bonn
More than 1,000 tonnes of waste are delivered to the waste recycling plant (MVA) in Bonn on working days. SWB Verwertung uses state-of-the-art technology to recover energy from the waste.
The waste incineration plant in Bonn produces steam when incinerating waste, which is delivered to the neighbouring SWB combined heat and power plant. Here, steam is turned into electricity and district heating.
